Welcome to UK Radio Catcher ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are deeply committed to protecting it. We built UK Radio Catcher with a privacy-first architecture designed to let you enjoy live British radio broadcasts across your Apple devices with minimal data footprint.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install, and use our iOS and Apple CarPlay application. By using UK Radio Catcher, you agree to the minimal, transparent data practices described in this policy.

Our application is engineered to function autonomously without requiring you to surrender your personal identity or private information.

Personal Data:

We explicitly state that we do NOT require user registration, account creation, or login credentials. Furthermore, we do not collect, transmit, or store sensitive personal data of any kind, including:

• Names, usernames, or physical addresses
• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Precise GPS location or real-time spatial tracking
• Payment information or credit card details

Local Device Data:

To provide a personalized streaming experience, UK Radio Catcher saves your custom app preferences locally on your hardware. This includes:

• Saved Favorite stations and custom ordering
• Recently played stations history
• Sleep timer configurations and playback preferences

UK Radio Catcher acts as a dedicated streaming client. To deliver live radio broadcasts to your headphones, speakers, or car audio system, the app connects directly over the internet to third-party streaming servers and broadcast networks (such as BBC, commercial UK broadcasters, and independent radio servers).

When you initiate an audio stream, standard network protocols require your device to establish a direct connection with the broadcaster's server. During this technical exchange, the following standard network telemetry is transmitted directly to the third-party broadcaster:

• IP Address: Required by streaming servers to route audio data packets back to your device and verify regional broadcast licensing.
• Device User-Agent: Standard technical identifier (e.g., audio player type and iOS version) used by broadcast servers to optimize audio codec delivery (such as AAC or MP3 streams).

These data transmissions occur directly between your iOS/CarPlay device and the respective radio station provider. We do not proxy, intercept, or record these audio streams. Your interaction with third-party radio broadcasts is subject to the respective privacy policies and terms of service of each individual broadcaster.

We do not embed third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or cross-app surveillance tools in UK Radio Catcher.

We may receive anonymized, aggregated diagnostic and crash reports provided exclusively through Apple's standard App Store developer tools. This telemetry is only shared with us if you have explicitly opted into sharing diagnostics with app developers in your device's iOS system settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements).

These Apple-provided reports contain stripped, non-identifiable technical data—such as stack traces, memory usage at the time of a crash, iOS OS version, and device model—and are used solely to improve app stability, fix bugs, and optimize playback performance across iOS and Apple CarPlay.

UK Radio Catcher is a general audience application and is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

Because our app requires zero registration and collects no personal data, no personal information regarding children is ever captured or stored by us. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate remedial action.

We may update or revise this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect app feature enhancements, legal requirements, or Apple App Store guideline modifications.

When changes are made, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Effective Date" at the top of the document. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
